Official CALV Music
A DJ Artist from Grand Rapids, MI, who is part of the Remedy Collective, messaged me earlier this year over Facebook. He wanted to help launch his first album with a whole new website and merchandise. I built the website using Bandzoogle, designed his merchandise, and even created him a brand new logo that he has used religiously since.
Official CALV Logo
CALV was not content with the previous logo he was using. I designed this using a font I found that was able to be used for commercial use that gave the right vibe. I took it into Adobe Illustrator and played around with the shapes of the letters until I was satisfied. CALV loved it, feeling it was very encompassing of his musical identity.
Logo Ideation Phase
I went through several design ideas that fit the New Age, Hyperwave, Y2K aesthetic that CALV's music embodied. This helped narrow down the concept and the vibe, which directly led to the final product.
Bandzoogle Website
I designed the website for CALV, linked his music platforms, got samples of his music on his website, and created the menu for CALV. This saved him a ton of time while he was preparing for his launch. Bandzoogle is a great website for music artists who need a landing page and a place to host merchandise. I also helped get Printful connected to his online storefront.

CALV Merchandise
CALV wanted his merchandise to reflect both the main album and also the song "MILK MAN" on his album. I decided to play off a common phrase, added some blue/red 3D effects, and really created something visually unique and interesting. He was very happy with.
Merchandise Ideation
The other merchandise that CALV wanted was something with his album cover on a tee. I like creating this numbered system so I can see what his thoughts are on different adjustments that would be hard to explain without visuals. I felt like an eye doctor that would go "1 OR 2"/"3 or 4".
